Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

I personally think the drums add to the atmosphere, without them you end up with various different groups of people along the South Stand singing different songs or the same song out of time which sounds dreadful!!!

 Co-ordination does seem to be lacking without them

FWIW i think the drums make our support sound cheap and tacky.

Pure singing is what its all about.

When i think of drums at sporting occasions it reminds of those twits who did the druming at england football games, boy that was irritating.

I was thinking about this the other night. It would certainly amplify the tune that we were singing. I can only imagine how much it would hurt doing it for 80 minutes though.

I'll take my triangle if that helps.

Also my kid has a little plastic glockenspiel which I could bring to the party.

Agreed that the atmosphere will be top notch on Friday night but it's funny how the atmosphere at the away games is much better overall.

Without blaming the numbers of away fans or the size/structure of the new stadium why do we think this is, every fan could if they wanted to join in with the singing at the home games but it's very rare they do. Take Hudders, Leeds, obviously Saints and Wigan, Catalans and on occasions Hull FC we generate quite a good atmosphere away from home but apart from the Wigan and Saints games it's generally lacking at home.

The main point with the above games is that were all situated at the end of the stadium, so with this in mind somebody suggested to me a while back that the home fans should move into the West stand, not sure how this would work but ey, also creating our own song like Leeds and Hull FC to get the crowd going before a game.

Any suggestions/ideas or reasons as to why the majority of our home games is generally lacking in atmosphere.

Too many old fogeys.

Believe me its full of em in the north stand. Im sure some of em only go for a cup of tea and a natter with their mates.

Some of the conversations that ive heard going on whilst the game is in progress is beyond belief

I trust the "Barmy Army" will be singing that old Warrington favourite from last Saturday of "Hull K R, Hull K R, Hull K R"

WTF was that about?

As for people looking to you Cockers I think that was looking at you; in pity.
