So when people say they would rather we had a policy of giving home grown players a chance, who do they mean? Do they mean the fantasy home grown players they have in their head, who they haven't actually seen play? Or do they mean actual home grown players who have played in Super League for us?

I agree. He's not had much chance to prove himself in the first team. I thought he has looked good when he played. Seemed willing to offload which is a good sign in a young forward. Big hitter as well.

The guys a lazy penalty machine. Always last back in the line of defense, doesn't make as many yards or have any footwork at the line, is very ill disciplined and far behind our other young prop Cooper. Will never be a top class prop and will not get his contract renewed.

Is that expansion on my eloquent terminology enough for you or do I have to have a super league winners medal to comment?

In his early appearances Picks was a great prospect. However last 2 times he's put the shirt on he's been a liability.

Now this isn;t down to the lad. His positional play was poor & laterally he was las bad as Leikvol in his first year. He needed a lot of coaching that he's obviously either not got, or not responded to.

A move to Widnes could be a great thing for him, but to go back to being under Cullen may not improve him much from being here under Cullen.
