Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

At the risk of Mark shooting me with a double barrelled shotgun for this:

I believe Penny isn't up to SL level yet (Tony Smith obviously believes the same thing) and I think if he went on loan to Wakey, or any other SL club, it'd just make it more obvious to everyone.

I firmly believe that if he were to go on loan, it should be to someone in the Championship. Widnes for example. Players aren't bubble wrapped as much as they are in SL and he'd learn a more physical game and come back a hell of a lot stronger, both physically and mentally.

yesSend him out asap .Lets face it if he was not born in Warrington nobody would want him here as he has not got any rugby talent bar a little pace and he has been chased down a few times so he isn't the fastest either release him I say !

It's not obvious at all - it may just be that he prefers Johnson, Riley and Hicks as a back 3. If he did it's hardly surprising at the moment.

I'm undecided as to whether a loan is a good idea - shipping him out in the formative stages of Smith's reign might see him miss out on some good messages.

I wouldn't mind him in our first team now and again. Unlike previous seasons we have not had a great deal of injuries so his chance may not come. If this is the case then it would be great to see him out on loan at somewhere like Wakefield

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

No.

Everyone seems to think he wants coaching more. We have a good coach. What is a spell of being coached by a NL1 coach going to do for him.

I notice nobody lambasting Johnson for dropping that bomb on Sunday for the first Giants try.

Smith just agrees that he isn't in his plans at the moment, I'm guessing he think's he's up to SL level, just as he did at inernational level when he drafted him into the train on squad, can't understand the hating on Penny...very strange.

I possibly should have stated that Smith doesn't think Penny is up to playing in SL just yet, otherwise he'd be pushing for a place in the squad, which he doesn't seem to be doing.

I don't hate Penny, I believe he has the potential to be a star player, I just don't think he's there yet.

Let him go on loan i say, although he isn't good enough for first team he needs more experience and it's going to be a slow process in the reserves, so yes on loan for me and anywhere will do.

He's our best attacking weapon, he was fine last game he played, he'll be a fine player for years to come at this club.
