The poor geordies are completely deluded if they thought a complete novice like alan shearer was going to be their saviour.

They should have moved heaven and earth to get a top proven manager.

Even Harry Bassett could have done better than shearer and dowie.

Always had a soft spot for Newcastle with the Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Beardsley, Dalglish, Rush, Barnes, Guthrie, Venison, Owen connection but sadly i hope you lose again at the weekend and that could be one of the final nails in your coffin.
