I haven't voted in the last couple of elections, this time I will vote Labour though. I work in the Higher Education sector and I want to move over to the academic side, which means I need ESRC funding to support a PhD. The Tories plans for the HE sector will hit it hard and they are going to move towards a private system which will make it very difficult for people who aren't from rich families to access university education.

I have a lot of disagreements with the Labour government, the war in Iraq, renewing Trident, PFI, but I need a Labour government for my own plans so I'm motivated by self interest.

Labour, anything to stop the Tories getting in. If I was in a constituency where it was between Tories and Lib Dem I would vote Lib Dem. Labour have made many mistakes but god forbid what would happen if that rabble got elected.

Being aligned to some political party doesn't abide anymore as none of them stand for anything different. They are effectively the same.

Labour.

Strongly support Brown's methods of getting the country out of recession, the Conservative way would mean the NHS and the Education system taking a big funding cut.

Also dislike the fact that the Conservatives have not as yet laid out any Economic Policy, purely because they don't really know what to do.

Labour generally align with most of my political beliefs: Strong NHS, Strong Education System and defiant against oppressive political regimes.

May i also strongly encourage a Labour Vote on June 4th in the European Election. There is a strong possiblity that the BNP will win a seat from Labour due to the Proportional Representation system. A Win for the BNP would be a nightmare and give support to discrimination and inequality.

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

Born into a working class family and benefiting from the welfare state supporting my severley handicapped brother. Benefiting myslef from 6 years of free higher education.

If I voted anything other than Labour my ancestors would come back and haunt me.

There have been many mistakes since 1997 but I don't want the tories back in. :D

We're the first ones to starve, we're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky
And we're always the last when the cream is shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

And this.

Keep the red flag flying high.

Looking back, even as a kid, I was such a socialist, probably before knowing how to even spell Politics; just basic principles like if I had extra something, I'd feel compelled to share it with someone who had sweet FA.

Labour and the Tories are the same and frankly anyone that votes for them are a bit simple.
Both will do nothing for you and what really gets me is when you get fed up of one you vote for the other ???
Lib dems, i feel given the opportunity will be exactly the same as Lab/Cons.

I will never vote BNP

The Greens are also too Right Wing

My vote is with Nigel Farage, and will be until im convinced otherwise

League Freak on St Helens

Their fans are the most obnoxious of any fans in the UK, they have Sean Long in their side, they used to be coached by Ian Millward, they whinge non stop and are the most ungracious winners of any club in the game.
