It was a good night. Smith spoke very well, as per the norm. Full of enthusiasm & furthered the belief that we are heading in the right direction. Pretty much all the first team attended bar the odd one or two, so a good turnout. I thik a good time had by all.

I'll be a little controversial and say that I thought a couple of the questions were a little out of order, making Smith ask the question,

Q21. How many hours community service did Stuart Reardon receive at his recent court case ?

A. 100
B. 200
C. 300

He looked pretty uncomfortable.

The first three were decided by a tie breaker after 4 teams finished on 77 points. The substitute “ Get em onside tours” team also had 77 points but were not available to participate in the tie breaker!

These teams won trophies and certificates ……….. well done!

Winners of the booby prize: “Partyburger” – won a Widnes programme with a special Paul Cullen article included.

The winners of the best team name was “Quiz Hicks” chosen by Tony Smith

Over £1,000 was raised tonight for Squadbuilder and Supports Trust.
