The Stobart trailers look like standard 13.6m box trailers to me. If they were refridgerated vehicles, then you would see the fridge engine at the highest point on the front end of the trailer where it hooks up to the tractor unit (usually Thermo King or similar). As an HGV driver yourself, you would know this.
Clearly at 4.5% of the total fleet, it is going to be very rare that you would spot one of these trailers, but certainly not as rare as you are making out by suggesting that they would only drive during the night.
