What's going on with them?

Think we was lambs to the slaughter 1st game up atvthe KC, with all their big signings is was nailed in they'd beat us, and to be fair they fully deserved to despite our last 20 minutes.

This is embarrassing, Sky making nothing about money they've spent, and going on about how bad their attacking is, yet they've conceded 42 thus far. Always had a soft spot for Hull because I think a good Hull side would be good for SL.

Maybe Radford has to go? As this is embarrassing against (despite the early results) a pretty average Widnes side.

It's obvious their intention this season is to use their big pack to blast teams away early, in the games where they have done that and gone in at half-time leading (Salford and Catalan) they have gone on to win comfortably. However against Wigan, Castleford and Widnes where they've gone in at half-time drawing or losing, they've struggled to keep up with their opponents. Granted the defeats to Wigan and Castleford were very narrow, but they were very similar in that Hull just didn't have enough when it mattered towards the end.

Last night was Widnes were fantastic, they nailed their tactics to perfect and Hull had no answer. I think you're being harsh with your "average" comment. Kevin Brown, Joe Mellor and Rhys Hanbury pulled their big man ragged. I suppose the major disappointment for Hull will be their the obviously lack of any "Plan B". I said the same after the Leeds game and I'll say it again, they wont be the only teams to get a good hiding at Widnes this season.

It's a bit too soon to give Radford the boot, but the Widnes performance last night shown every other club in Super League how to beat Hull. For his sake I hope he can come up with a Plan B.

Odd game.
Widnes had the breaks when they needed them,early on,and it could have been so different.
If you let Kevin Brown play,he'll destroy you.
We seem to have learnt that lesson and hope we remember !

There's speculative rumours on the Hull FC boards that Radders has walked, apparently social media's going berserk. Could Brian Smith be returning to the Black and Whites. ?

as for the game, widnes were superb we were dog poo end of!

game played on a sunday we are 18-0 up, but it was a tv game and them are the fine margins, a few of our players believed their own hype after catalans, maybe now its time to drop them and give them a reality check

hmmm, more like wishful thinking

Pearson has said over and over Radford will stay as headcoach, he has backed him, he and the players have the up most respect for radford, (although id question that after last night)

hopefully Pearson won't rush into handing out a new contract this year and Motu Tony is monitoring the situation
