Says in MEN that Fitzy possibly dropped for Sunday & Wilshire brought in to f/back. Looking at Salfors stats, Fitzy is in the top 4 for more than half the stats, look at Jeremy Smiths, he is TOP in errors made & missed tackles, surely that warrants him being dropped before anyone else as in his position we cant afford someone with so many errors.
Remembering when he was last at f/back, some of the suicide passes Wilshire gave to Hodgy were unbeleivable, dont think he made many yards to clear the line. If we are desperate in the backs, why drop Fitzy , why not bring Wilshire back on wing or centre instead of having players out of position.
I would have put Fitzy in Smiths spot, he cant do any worse if putting Wilshire at f/back.
Totally agree shirley think its time to see stefan at stand off get him off that wing to his rightful posistion wigan wasted no time dropping their oversees stars in smith and amos roberts they should not be in the team just because they are NRL players as some punters on here have said in the past if they are not doing the business a stint in the reserves is calling

It's difficult to compare statistics like that though becase they do different jobs and do a different amount of work. According to official stats Fitz has missed 9 tackles (don't know if that includes the 3 misses in Leuluai's try on Friday as seperate ones) and Smith mas missed 14 - but Fitz has only made 19 tackles to Smith's 108 - so Fitz is currenlty missing about 1 in every 3 tackles, to Smith's 1 in 9 - and they tend to be costlier when a fullback misses. Equally, you'd expect a half bak cto touch teh ball more than a fullback, so, again simply looking at handling errors alone could be misleading.
I'm not sticking up for, or slagging either player here - just saying stats are not definitive. I'd suggest that both players are currently out of form.
Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr
i agree, ratchford deserves a chance in his favoured position, if myler can play that well in superleague ratchford surely can imo, they could be a deadly combination, well more than the MYler-Smith partnership any way
