Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;

"The Bulls are currently looking like missing out on the Championship top 4 though!"

Not now: having beaten Oldham 44-12, they travel to Featherstone on Sunday. One of the two will go into the mid-eights as 4th in the league. If they draw and Swinton beats Batley, then both should be promoted to the mid-8s as both have a better points difference than Batley. Let's ignore the possibility of a draw and Halifax beating London by 150 points.

I accept that Bulls beating Fev, at Fev, is not going to be easy.

from another site: re the appeal
"A lengthy document confirms that the tribunal found there to be “clear breaches” of operational rules regarding the contracts of Theo Fages, Lama Tasi and Tony Puletua, while it confirms that the club was spending an aggregate of £1.919 million for a period of 109 days in the 2014 season, which is over the salary cap figure of £1.825 million.

The document goes on to reveal that the RFL challenged the severity of the sanction imposed and proposed a higher points deduction to be spread into the Super 8s Qualifiers, although this didn’t materialise after the tribunal was impressed with Dr Marwan Koukash and the fact he has “implemented procedures to avoid this happening again.”

The most bizzare thing is the valuation of the Maserati at 16k. At that price, I'd have two.

First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.

Re: Points Appeal : Tue Jul 19, 2016 4:02 pm
The most concerning aspect of all this was the RFL's attempt to further punish the club with an extra points deduction in the middle 8's. It seems to me the consequence of this bitter relationship between both parties is driving Salford RLFC into the ground. All parties need to take a step back and realise the damaging effects their actions are causing honest hard working players and loyal paying supporters. A line now needs to be clearly drawn in the sand but i'm not confidentl it will.

I don't condone the public criticism of the RFL but I would have expected our governing body to handle themselves and the situation much better. It's blatantly obvious the RFL are on a revenge mission to hit back heavy through the disciplinary system at every opportunity. (With total disregard for those caught in the crossfire. It's evolved into a very sad state of affairs and it's damaging, very embarrassing and calls into question the integrity of the sport.

To me you had a fair tribunal and the Doctor clearly is to blame. Does he admit guilt and take his punishment? Nope, he personally insults people and declares war. He does this without any ammo. He expects the RFL to be professional but isn't willing to work with them. You fans are suffering due to his childish approach to things.

Re: Points Appeal : Tue Jul 19, 2016 5:01 pm
I'm not defending anyone's actions here. I do however believe there has been several inconsistencies in punishments over the past 3 years. I've followed rugby league for over 40 years and I can see when there is an agenda to hit the club hard at every opportunity. My view is the RFL failed to nail the problem early and effectively and the innocent have experienced the conequences of this situation.
