Very very weak management for me at the very time when we need strong leadership and guidance...this goes all the way to the top too, no two ways about that whatsoever...a very disappointing day for most right-thinking Salford fans.
Interesting to read in the original statement:
Due to his involvement in
a number of minor incidents recently, long-standing skipper Malcolm Alker has had the Captaincy of the club removed from him as part of the measures undertaken, other players will be dealt with appropriately.
And the newest statement:
McRae said, “Having spoken at length to Malcolm it was clear that lessons have been learned.
He is deserving of this second chance, I have little doubt about that, and I can see in his eyes that he will not let us down. I am very pleased we have managed to resolve this and we can now get back to business with no distractions”.
So he's been involved in a number of incidents but this is his second chance...some good maths there McRae.
And McRae has said we can get on with business with no distractions...does that mean no more p1ss poor excuses for being 30 points down at half time at home???? I somehow doubt it...
Part of me thinks that the club has got the captain that some of the supporters deserve right now.
