Why has nobody signed Dowes up is it something I've missed? I'd have him at Salford without a doubt!

Totally agree, always been a good quality hard working prop. I'm not one who thinks that the forward pack is lightweight, with the right training and tactics I see a very mobile solid pack and Dowes would more that compliment that pack.

And talk of Sam Obst signing for Keighley.. surely worth a shot with the reds, fantastic little player!

I notice Stuart Howarth training with the squad in the Mark Barry Interview on the reds website.
maybe Dowes was in there too ?

I know Wakey fans were saying Agar was looking at bringing him to Belle Vue *

I've just spotted (via Twitter) that academy Centre Max Wiper has joined Whitehaven, I had high hopes for the lad but it appears he hasn't reached the right level to stay with the club.
