It never is that far North, can the pitch take 7 matches over a weekend if there is rain, and what if the groundsman steps in on Day 2 and states the pitch is unplayable or the refs decide that it is not safe.
What happens then do Saturdays games become null and void?
just a bit pessimistic but have to cover all bases, plus because of our global position weather prediction is not an exact science for anything more than the next 12 hours, they look at patterns from the past and determine from them what might happen.
So the weekend could also be very sunny if there is a change in the wind direction and we get winds from the south.
