Hello all,

It appears that despite the obvious talent within the squad at Leigh Centurions, they often struggle to keep their discipline under control.

Looking at the RFL website, they are approaching thirty separate occasions of ill-discipline, with no doubt lots more due after yet another mass brawl at the LSV vs Halifax. Their MD (or similar role, can't remember) has also been fined for foul language and intimidating opposition fans.

Do we think that the current system of individual disciplinary cases against players is working? What will it take to stop Leigh from tarnishing our beautiful game's reputation? A fine? Points deduction? It is definitely getting out of hand.

No mate, I just began a discussion between fans on a rugby league forum by presenting an argument backed up with evidence and inviting debate. Apologies if such actions were too mature for you to understand.

Suspect DBs Twitter account has been hacked. Never used foul language or text speak in previous exchanges.

As for original topic, how many of these incidents on rfl site that has been referred to resulted in an actual charge?

I'm not defending Leigh, but it takes two to brawl and no one appears bothered to comment on 'Fax.

The words "brawl" and "Leigh" appear with alarming regularity in weekly match reports. When they struggle, they revert to niggling and match disruption. They've got it down to a fine art. But it's working. Teams can't handle it and fair play to them - they're top of the league still.
