JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
I said our allocation dumbo, it’s not our fault if the RFL couldn’t sell the expensive seats. So basically the match was 1600 short of a sell out and that is somehow bad! The level of idiocy on the VT just gets worse.

wakefield always sel there allocations for cup semi finals and would easily take 20k plus.
Surely the hordes of Wakefield fans (who you seemed to have lost about another 1,000 of this year) would have snapped up those extra seats after you'd exhausted your allocation....or maybe the RFL should have had the game in a bigger stadium? That year's semis were 5k short of this years combined.....so no matter how much you want it to be not the case, Catalans are a bigger draw than your pit village side.
If you insist on calling me "dumbo" and an 'Idiot' I'd suggest you get a better grasp of the English language first to avoid acting like the inbred you no doubt are!

"Dumbo" Probably about right for someone who insists upon calling a City a "pit village".

I see the final day tickets for the Open golf champioships in 2019 have sold out a year away from the event https://www.bbc.com/sport/golf/45101833 yet RL fans of small insignificant teams would have you believe that the empty seats at Wembley will all be as a result of their pit village side not being there

'Call me god' I'd like to call you out on somethings my friend. Why do you insist on calling places 'pit villages' and no doubt 'sh1tholes' you seem to be so dismissive of the culture rugby league was built on. If you're the sort of fan expansion breeds then we can bugger off back to 'the good old days' One word: Muppet
dismissive of the culture rugby league was built on.
Was built on, not anymore. A different kettle of fish these days. You can't sustain something that is dying. Kids from those areas are not interested in RL as much as previous generations, hence why the game must move on. My take on it anyway.

You don't have a clue about kids from 'those areas' you clown. How do you see rugby league going then? As I'm sure you've got an interesting view
