I think you will be surprised. I read somewhere that in 1995 only 12k had been sold for the Wembley opener 10 days out from the match and the crowd topped 41k. Also, that more than 30k tickets were shifted in a week that year between the semi final and final.
When the club stuff has stopped and people are sitting around with this in their faces etc. It is easy to sit on your sofa and moan when Cardiff is going to be empty but quite different if 50K+ pre-sales gets posted a couple of weeks out from the game.
I also don't think we should underestimate Welsh (local) ticket sales in the last 3 weeks before the game. It is not often they get something like this on their doorstep.
