At times like this I wonder why did I ever move from Yorkshire to Manchester??

Was it to escape the ever growing uber-metropolis that is the City of Wakefield for the comparatively semi rural idyll that is Manchester(with its two world class stadia)?

I am taking an educated guess that you are very familiar with the sound of one-handed clapping.

2/10 - must try harder. Or not bother at all.

York Court Properties produce a legal letter confirming FULL FUNDING OF THE WAKEFIELD COMMUNITY STADIUM upon granting of planning permission.
Also
Confirmation of the building and handing over of the stadium before any distribution units are brought into use.

out of curiosity is there any reason that rodney walker wrote in his letter that yorkcourt would not be fully funding the stadium?

I'm guessing that it's someone splitting hairs to try and make a point, I believe York Court will supply the bulk of the funding with other funding coming from grants etc. therefore the statement that YCP are not supplying full funding is correct but the stadium build IS fully funded.

If you just take the bit about YCP Not funding the whole thing and leave out the grants bit you can then be mischievous if you want but you wouldn't be representing the whole truth.

Not trying to stir just curious as Rodney walkers letter did not seem to imply that and i wondered if the funding position had changed.

Yes unfortunately there are some from both sides of the common that want to see the others project fail which is a shame.

Does this letter confirm all the grant funding is in place then?

Well Starbug, you were right.

York Council won't even consider York Knights plans or concerns, and instead are pushing along with the 6k seater 'lego box' that will be useless and far too expensive for everyone.

All because the football club are stamping their feet and throwing a paddy.

Knocks me sick.
