Paul Rowley is the main reason, but I'd agree, Bailey sure does contribute to this.
Spot on these thugs coached by Rowley tried everything to physically hurt the Salford players and their methods were there for anyone to see yesterday. Awful.

no report in the globe and mail yet but the preview features the following quote which is brilliant and a perfect way to describe the game. i might use this myself
"Rugby league’s tool box contains both a sledge hammer and a delicate paint brush. "

2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!
Some of Rowleys quotes could have been from his Leigh reign 2 and 3 years ago.
"You can only get punched so many times"
"That's what you get when you mix amateurs with pros"
Arrogance anyone?

Find it a bit strange the BBC haven't yet reported on it seeing as it's one of the biggest moments for the game since introducing 6 tackles. They're quick enough to report on women's cricket. Especially as they ran a report basically saying it wouldn't be a success a few weeks ago.
They're also quick enough to report on Bromwich & Proctor. 3 articles in 3 days on those two morons on the main BBC page.

There's a long, long way to go yet, but what they've achieved so far has been very impressive.
Their marketing has been unbelievable and puts many (if not all) SL clubs to shame. They've set up great business deals, especially the deal with Air Transat.
There's a huge amount SL clubs can learn from the way Toronto are doing things away from the pitch.

Ive never seen an RL teams record described as 6-0-0 or 2-3-0 before as they do in American sports. I like it.
