Not trolling though?

Depends on your definition.
Personally, if I get accused of something, as in this case not enjoying the RLWC I will try to deliver a little of what is expected. I have always said this tournament would deliver 360k fans and I stand by that...

McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.

Gaps in seating for H&S reasons are if there are 'away' fans & unreserved seating AFAIK, hence KC was 'almost' 'sold out' at 23,004 for Hull v KR (2007), as the max allowed well below max capacity, Hull City's max attendance isn't much more yet the highest actual attendance is 25k+ when there was no 'away' fans or unreserved seating.

Oh dear.....
You should learn to differentiate between criticism of the way the game is run and the game itself.
Btw, teams that finished 4th and 5th in 2008 as well as the team ranked 4 in the world have failed to score a try this weekend against #1 #2 and #3......but at least they got more fans to those 3 World Cup games than they got at TW2 eh........

You've lost me, what's TW2?

Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.

We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

But you’ve got to keep believing.

That Was The Week?

Gutters is clearly p1ssed that the rlwc is going much better than it would have even in mythical Gutterfaxland where he imagines he was running the show. I hate to think how he would react if London Broncos started posting sell out crowds week after week.

Nope...it's a post code....

Nope...gutters is thrilled at the crowds at games, not just as thrilled as others who will be breathing a massive sigh of relief.....but will still miss their 500k target by some ways. (unless you count 45k twice and Wembley twice that is)
As for me running the show....nah, I've no interest in working for an organisation where 10+ years of failure is rewarded and then swept under the carpet because they managed to sell 5 quid tickets.

How I'd react? Probably I'd be quite trippy actually, because if I believe that the Broncos where posting full houses I'd either be as high as a kite or they'd be playing games in a toilet cubicle......very Lucy in the Sky...

Re: World Cup Ticket Sales : Mon Nov 04, 2013 2:55 am
For the games on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridat

sales are going something like...

2900 terraced places so far, unless the South Stand is open. Two of the 5 blocks are unavailable along the line, and tickets to be included for the new North Stand too, i hope for 7000 there, and hope they do come because Samoa Vs. PNG has potential to be a real firecracker!

8,000 for the Leigh game as it stands, including the Sold out terrace, and two nearly sold out terraces, a walk up crowd could reach 11,000, which would be fantastic.

For Salford less well, the first block became 'unavailable' today, 5 days before the event, with only 693 and 277 sold in the terraces respectively!

That said, 5 out of the 7 blocks are now available in the big main stand, so they must be confident on sales, so hopefully we can get 7000+.

For Headlingley, the South Stand seems to be all sold out, which is very encouraging, 2300 have been sold in the Carnegie Terrace, and there doesn't seem to be many £20 tickets left, i've just looked then and couldn't get two together, with £30 tickets also limited! Unsurprisingly, the £40 tickets are still all available!
I also assume that the West Terrace was just opened as only 39 tickets have been sold there so far  might get lonely there!

But Leeds is looking encouraging!
