Very enjoyable game that.....and a good crowd for a non heartlands area......dare I say a sprinkling of uni students in fancy dress........cracking effort

great effort, especially considering the city has two well-supported soccer clubs, Bristol RU and Bath on the doorstep and only the Sonics pushing the RL agenda.

where are those forum members who criticised the decision to play a game at Bristol? Full marks to the Cookies too, they are taking the game to local schools and really getting involved in the community

Did you notice the guy in the Cowboy fancy dress.... He hid his face every time he spotted himself on the big screen. All his mates were cheering away and glad to be on screen.

I preferred the fella in the horse head mask trying to drink a pint through it! Great to see those packed stands in Bristol, top effort from the Sonics and co.

Going back to the Eng v Ireland game this Saturday which I thought was a sellout. I have just been purchasing tix for the Aus v fiji game and I looked on the multi game ticket package Eng v Ireland and Aus v Fiji and it let me add tickets in the Cat 3 (£20) range. It added to my basket complete with seat numbers for both games. I don't know whether this is a glitch or if there were a few odd seats remaining at Huddersfield they are selling ticket packages. Worth a try for anyone still looking for England tickets.
