If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Cheers chief, it is indeed. NZ vs. PNG and Italy vs. Tonga added to my itinerary.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Great to hear the ticket sales are going well everywhere, I myself just can't get enough, the quality for the price is just epic!

As it's likely the QF at the DW will now see England play there, the ticket sales have soared.

5k at Bristol must be considered a success! Just 7.5k bothered to turn up in Hull, for what is probably a more attractive match!

That looks like a piece of PR puff in the local press, rather than a good news story. Most "normal" people (i.e. not hard core fans) probably wont have realised that England are likely to be in the QF, so wont have even thought about going to it.

What? That makes no sense whatsoever! Most 'normal' people, do you really think there's less than 6,000 hardcore fans in the game?

Who cares, who have bought them, the fact is they're selling and fast! If England are playing in that game it'll be close to, or sold out.

Re: World Cup Ticket Sales : Tue Oct 29, 2013 7:21 pm
Only in RL can we take such good news on sales and try to turn it into a competition between clubs.

Hull have 3 games between them. Personally I saw nothing wrong with the attendance. The capacity is only 10000.

In the end it was 3/4rs full and lets face it not everyone there will be from Hull, just like not everyone at Warrington will be from Wire.

Within a 30 minute drive of Wire you have a pethora of SL and championship teams. Hull whilst a hot bed of RL, is pretty much an hour away from other RL towns.

It was a great turn out at Hull KR, Bristol is also a great turn out. Only we can call a success a relative success.
