No, it isn't, there are two sides to every story and I doubt you know either one. MC and CC don't strike me as the kind of men who would cut their noses off to spite their faces, do they? They offered I suspect exactly what they thought he was worth and what we could afford.

As for Brough and Kirmond what the hell do they have to do with the price of fish?

Even more disgraceful is the fact the he found out they were letting him go when he refreshed his Twitter feed. Shocking treatment.

From past comments made by himself and the Wakefield chairman, I dont think there is much love between the two. Probably Wakefields idea of getting one over on him

“Getting one over on him” is Not a particularly smart way to conduct business. Not going to help with their recruitment in the future if players leave on bad terms. It’s a small world the RL one and players’ recommendations can make the difference between a signing made and a signing lost.

I agree with you about this torrid affair, Being out in the Public domain hasn't help and with the club alleging trying to offload him to you (hudds) it didn't go down too well either.
