No I'm over-excited too! I just hope England don't mess it up on Saturday, I can cope with a narrow defeat in an end-to-end game, but a heavy defeat will really kill the buzz of this tournament off before it gets going.

You're definitely not the only one... can't wait! Just hope I'm still married at the end of it, Mrs Dunbar is under the misguided impression that the season is over! (I did cheer her up on Saturday telling her that Italy had beaten England (she is not unpatriotic, just Italian))

Glad it's not just me! Australia have dominated throughout my lifetime, I would absolutely love an upset on Saturday!

Hugely excited. I'm probably the most excited I've been for any sporting event ever and I'm a sports (not just rugby league) nut. I've just watched the video of the Fijian team singing after their friendly victory yesterday and that's got me buzzing. It really sums up what this tournament means to people. These lads are having the times of their lives and its great to see the rugby league world have an opportunity to come together.

I'd love to see us do well but even if we don't I'm going to have a great time.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

The Welsh need a good start I feel.

If they get a good win over a competitive Italian side then, it will pull in the punters.

England do have the advantage getting first pick on all the players. It's basically a GB side in everything but name and the rest of the home nations get 2nd picks.

This is the other knock on effect of a possible reduction in SL sides. Less pro players, less for the rest of the home nations to pick from.

I do hope Wrexham can come back to SL at some point. Yes we need a strong French side, but also a strong Welsh side. 3 strong teams in the Northern Hemisphere and then we are starting to talk about a more international game with roots.

I fear for Wales on Saturday. That Italian Squad looks good enough to concern New Zealand who I think they will meet in the Quarter Finals....they will be bursting with confidence after their upset win over the English and I don't see Wales being able to stick with them.
