People talk about legends all the time in sport but this guy is a legend in life. To go through what he's been going through and show the fight, determination and willingness to help others is a lesson to everyone in all walks of life.

It's an honour that this bloke has been involved in rugby league. All the best to him and his family.

I couldn't imagine not eating or drinking ever again.

What a fantastic human being. Good luck to him in the future, I really hope that he can make the best of what a horrific situation to be in - and the rest of us are just lucky that his idea of making the best of it for himself is remarkably selfless.

Steve, you're a wonder. You've already achieved much more than most, first as a player (always were one of my favourite "other clubs" players) and now with your continuing fight against adversity.

Legend - anyone thats gone through what he has a right to lock themselves away and never come out, completely the opposite here.....this guy gets more inspring as time goes on !!
