There are certainly some red flags there but let's not kid ourselves, Dunning was assistant under Kear so it's not like he's had no say and he'd assemble a massively different squad. Wasn't part of the justification of him getting the role he knew the players anyway and if anything the performances have gotten worse.
Isn't it good planning to decide what you are doing next year mid way through the season. Presumably some people don't like what they see - rumour is it that's why Crossley is off - not sure why the club are pretending it's a unique situation to us. We hand out one year contracts like sweets so it's par for the course.
Not saying the players are blameless of course, but it's not as simple as it's JKs fault. What have recruited so far doesn't exactly scream we're going to have a better run at the playoffs next year
