According to the Daily Star, Wigan have tabled an offer for him.

Can Wigan actually afford him?

I'm sure most teams in SL could afford him if they really wanted him. Whether he is worth what he is asking is where a lot of clubs may pull out. Would be a great player to have in SL, don't expect Bulls to make an offer though.. we already have a FB tied up for a further 2 years.

You're forgetting Wigan and Warrington's "special" salary cap.

IMO Hunt would make an effective stand off.

He hasn't yet signed the new offer from the Broncos but isn't there also something about him switching codes and going to Japan.

If it is for this season then I very much doubt it.If for next season then why not.

Maybe,but he could join the Aussie exodus and play union in France,,.Don*t think they have salary cap in thier Domestic union league do they?

Platt had a good game today, very good in fact. Hunt is obviously far better though in all parts of his game. I think also he would be a fine 6, I believe that I read somewhere that's where the Brisbane were grooming him for. Love to see him here.

Emperor's new clothes, anyone? From what I've seen this year, then if not exactly playing like a K.Hunt, Karmichael has not done much at all, and looks uninterested. Why anyone would want to waste a shedload on buying a limo for the agent of a player who looks to be just out for the big bucks is beyond me.
