Why on earth he would want to get involved in this circus beyond his "...I’d have a little bit of personal satisfaction if I got the club back on its feet..." statement is anyones guess.

Interesting to hear, that despite statements to the contrary by many, the club hasn't received any advancements on next year’s central funding too.

This late in the day recruiting I think we'll be lucky to stay up next season, could be a lot of grim viewing I fear.

I don't believe this to be the case. Leigh had zero players on its books at this stage and yet still made top 5.

Playing squad budget is twice that of Rams according to last nights forum. Rams rumoured to be spending about £300k so that equates to about £600k plus whatever extra by better than expected gate receipts.

I would expect us to be spending around same as or higher than 3/4 of the league.
