I understand your frustration - so I'll try to be clearer:
The visiting support will be directed to the West Terrace - that's the one on your left if you're standing in the corporate boxes (sometimes referred to as the Benidorm Flats) facing out; so there'll be an 'away side' rather than an 'away end.'
The North Stand (which has become the defacto home of the vocal Wakefield support since it was covered under Mr Glover's regime) is behind the sticks at the opposite end to the Benidorm Flats; this is the area that your fans collected in last time, hence the flashpoints.
If you buy a seated ticket, you'll be on the right hand side (facing out from the flats - you get it now) and it is still possible to stand on the terrace in front of those seats - but probably not if you're an away supporter.
If you want the full, fine dining, exclusive 5 star experience, you can buy a table in the Benidorm flats; I think they will pick you up from Odsal Top in the company helicopter, and you'll eat caviar and lobster off the back of a disgraced Tim Smith, who will be forced to act as human furniture as penance for his disgraceful behaviour; there will also be a pigs head on display in the Chairman's Lounge, which you are welcome to stick any body parts that you fancy into, in tribute to David Cameron and his Bullingdon Boys, who enjoy popular support in the now affluent cosmopolis of Wakefield.

Ha ha, I thank you very much for that, though, in truth, as someone who is actually quite well acquainted with the ground I must admit that Tigertot is quite correct [did I really type that...] and I really ought to have worked it out by working on the obvious connection to the south bound Donny road...I reckon it's just that I was forced into actually thinking that caused the problem.....
The North stand (which is actually a terrace) is no longer the away stand but is in fact the Home Stand or the Covered Stand or the stand opposite the Benidorm Flats.
The West Terrace (which is a terrace unlike the North Terrace which is actually a stand) is no longer the home terrace but is in fact the away terrace or the terrace opposite the Main Stand (which is an actual stand) and will be where all away fans can be expected to be herded like sheep in future by those lovely, polite, well trained stewards that "police" the ground.
The Main Stand is a stand and has always been a stand apart from the bit in front of it which is actually a terrace and is adjacent to the Benidorm Flats to the East.
The Benidorm flats are at the south of the stadium opposite the home stand, also helpfully called the North Stand despite the fact it is really a terrace which used to be the away terrace until someone put a roof on it (take note Mr Green ) and made it too popular for the away fans so now is used for the sole purpose of only those who can chant "Red, White and Blue Army" every 5mins.
I also think there is also bronze statue of John Kear casually draped over the side of a box in the Benidorm flats looking perplexed in a tribute to the standard sky footage that plagued us all whenever Wakefield games were televised between 2006-11. If you look for this landmark you should be able to work out the rest quite easily!!!

Anyone know how ticket allocation for wakey is going to be handled. Is it like a league game where they only have to give us a smallish percentage of capacity ( 20% springs to mind but cant remember correct figure),or because its effectively a cup final do they have to give us 50% of the capacity?.

Who knows, but it's another reason why they should probably look at a neutral venue for future years. This match should be drawing 10k plus with the amount at stake for both sides.
