We had enough to beat Sheffield earlier in the season without Nielsen playing so I'm confident we can get the win without him. Think we'll see him in the Wakefield game though.

I suspect we will get the win, but it wasn't that anyone really felt we 'needed' him for this game, more that, dependant on fitness, it would have been a good game to get under his belt before we come up against the big hitters.

TBH suspect it will be useful for neilsen to watch a game from sidelines. I'm sure well have sent videos across for him to watch. but the focus of videos tend to follow the ball and you miss a lot of whats going on in backplay. Think a player will be looking at lines other players run and how they position themselves in defense etc so think he'll learn a fair bit about how we pla watching an actual live game as opposed to a video.

Reading the articles it looks like it may be a moot point anyway, as up to yesterday, he he was still looking forward to being ready to set off for the Airport! If he leaves today [Friday] it's going to be probably late Saturday before he arrives in Bradford, so he'll be in no condition to do much at all. Maybe he'll come to Odsal for the game and get a cheer from the crowd, which may brighten him up a bit...as long as no-one mentions the cricket.....

If it looks like we have under estimated any team in any of these seven games then the coach needs sacking on the spot when the final hooter goes.
I am expecting to see seven cup final type performances - nothing less will do.
Nielsen arrives on Sunday so may not even see the game.
It would be nice if he is there so they can give him is jersey on the field at half time.

To be honest Bulliac if you had seen the Oz press yesterday he may be glad to get to the UK to avoid the cricket. The Trent Bridge massacre was top of the news here and I think the TVNZ sports presenter actually did mickey herself presenting the highlights
