Thinking about the situation and the 2 days of talks, the only conclusion I can reach are:-
1. The parties must be confident they can reach a deal, they'll never get these 2 days of their life back!
2. It must be a substantial scheme planned, why else is it taking 2 days
3. The RFL must be confident that the buyers have the wherewithal to deliver the scheme, hence we may have owners with some real cash!
So supporting what Frank says, I think the future could be bright, but never doubt something to screw the deal up at the last minute. A real death or glory scenario.
Final thing the note about someone like Mike Ashley being involved, with negative comments about their involvement. Lots of very wealthy people have got their riches by taking advantage of something, we may have to reflect that beggars can't be choosers!
