Well considered post, B4, excuse Bongser for not quoting it in full but there is a point to be made here.
Q/. At what point does anyone know that a club (any club) is being "100% completely honest with the fans"? Is it when the management, in answer to a question from the floor at a forum says: "Look lads (and lasses), through no fault of yours - all the blame lies with our mis-management - not to put too fine a point on it but basically we're fooked"?
Will the fans be rapping at the shutters on the ticket office, jamming the switchboard and crashing the website?
Hello there BB. Always good to hear from you as a sensible neutral to provide balance.
You make a very good point. I suppose we would never know. As you say same applies to any club. I do think Bradford fans have a history of clubbing together though especially in times of need if the cards are laid out on the table. With big credit to the whole game, we raised numerous amounts over the past decade to help the club. Annoyingly the wool has been pulled over our eyes on multiple occasions and the good will is running very low.
But I think if Dunning, Noble, Wood, someone else came out and said something along the lines off ‘we got X, Y and Z wrong but please stick with us and this is what we will do next year’.
Surely that’s better than the current ‘there are no issues with fitness etc and we have no time to answer your questions from the floor’.
