It's interesting that, if these reports are to be believed, we've had applications from two existing Championship coaches

Despite everything, and the events of recent years, being coach of the Bulls is still more attractive than some of the jobs in a higher division

Don't quite get the animosity towards Diskin. He did well fot Batley i thought last year. 2016's third place finish was great achievement, but it isn't norm. The two previous seasons Batley were battling relegation under Kear. They're a mid-table championship team and that's what he achieved.

Sounds like some Batley fans fell in love with the idea of being a Top 4 team. They over-achieved in 2016 - and well done to them for that! But they weren't going to be up there again in 2017, and won't be in 2017... whoever the coach is!

- really! thats a novel idea
