| I'm not sure who is left in the mix. Marc Green to save the club writing off his own debt and not paying back the HMRC and starting on -12?
It seems there were a few from men really keen but the money men they usually work with didn't fancy a 2M outlay with nothing of value owned by them e.g. ground.
It's strange how in the space of a day 2 statements in T+A then it has all gone bad. I feel the Administrator has been trying to spin things to push the bids up and it's all blown up in his face.

Their deal might be a lot better than that, how about taking a recently created vacancy in the Championship fixture list with a largely Championship calibre squad?

So they will also adopt the mantle of "RFLs Favourites" from other clubs fans from us too?

I don't understand anything anymore. None of it makes any sense.'"
I just thought it's obvious that the person who holds the lease moving forwards, has the best chance for making money. Petit has nothing to gain from lying, so when he said there were 4 good bids, it's obvious that they would all want to buy the lease from RFL.
If we now have no bids, then again, logically, the RFL have refused to sell the lease so everyone has walked away. The RFL are putting their interests above that of the Bulls. Legally correct, but remembering how they got it and the conflict of interest they are embroiled in, ethically dubious.

| In the light of the liquidation rumour can someone tell me who the Administrator works for? I know he is supposed to get the best deal possible for the creditors but surely it can't be in their best interest to liquidate the club if there is supposedly interested buyers. Or is it a case of there being nothing left to pay the staff and so it has to be liquidated

depends on whether the bids were made with a proviso that they acquired the lease to odsal, in which case it has everything to do with the RFL......no doubt they don't want to relinquish the crown jewels......could be developers who are backing the bids want to build houses on part of land to generate a profit before investing in stadium. Rfl want club and stadium investment first before letting lease go, so we don't have another wakefield saga

But if they don't get their fingers out the club will be liquidated. This is like watching firemen fighting with ambulancemen over who is going to save somebody only to find that they have died by the time the decision is made.

They won't be any investment if the club is Liquidated on Friday and then what use is Odsal to them, it maybe a Jewel but they will have to sell it or develop it. but the RFL won't want to develop something that no one from the RFL are going to play in?

| Indeed. Happy to be liquidated to spite the RFL. Fat Nige can eat himself to death and I'll start watching Bradford & Bingley.
