When I first read the article, I expected it to say a one year deal for next season. But it clearly states a "one year deal" for 2018.

It is a little odd, but there's bound to be a reason behind it. Be it to do with trying to get better compensation should he leave, or whether it's because he's about to be thrown into the first team and they have to be signed to a certain contract to allow that.

Dewsbury have announced Jamel Goodall has joined them on loan. So League 1 Bradford are loaning Championship Dewsbury players that can't make Bradford's first team? Yeah, makes sense.

To be fair the rate we rotate players you can't blame either side for the decision. If he doesn't get a game this week then he is unlikely to. I suspect we won't see him again

I seem to be missing some information from my memory bank, where is Alex Brown. Last I remember is he got injured was it long term season ending?

I believe he was released, although no announcement was ever made. He disappeared from the club's squad list on the website though.

Alex Brown was let go at the beginning of the season. I can't remember why.

List altered to reflect James Davies and Jordan Andrade being let go. According to Kear they couldn't commit to training and no train = no play so they've gone their separate ways.
