The opposition we're playing has nothing to do with it. It is simply a health & safety issue, both for the players and the supporters.

Now that they're using artificial surfaces, why not play on the runway at LBA airport? It's guaranteed to be free of snow, and the Cats can get off back straight after the match

That's a great idea. It'll be like when I was a kid and we played on the local roads...you just need to keep a sharp eye out for traffic flying about.....

What about the multitudes of Catalans fans that will be flying over in the morning? Surely we have to make a decision now to save the thousands of Cats fans making a wasted journey.

Isnt it just similar condition to the time we played cas at home a season or so ago, when they closed theterracing cos of ice - the game where Richard Owen broke his leg ??

Just cleared about 4 inches off my drive and road outside, although we do catch it bad here.

Did it tonight because forecast included rain later tonight but still freezing. Rain on frozen ground and snow is not necessarily an attractive proposition? Rain tonight on snow-covered frozen terraces...hmm.
