Debb Sorra went through the IMG grading criteria and told us the areas where we will score highly. They think we will score a high B grading which means we can be in the mix to be in Super League.
We meet minimum standards for the stadium. However, they did look into the criteria around this and part of upgrading the score is getting LED lighting, Electronic advertisement boards and a big screen.
Finances, the club do not rely heavily on central funding, which helps the score and our finances are strong. However, there are certain aspects of the grading which need further clarification before they can score this.

Club are looking into player recruitment. However, the players they bring in have to improve the starting 17 and not just the 25 man squad.
They are in negotiations with Myles Lawford regarding a new contract and this is ongoing. However, there is interest and Jason Hirst said he would not stand in his way if Super League came knocking
Lee Greenwood and Brian Noble will stay even with the appointment of Eamon O'Carroll.
Jason told everyone the reasons for hiring Eamon O'Carroll and he confirmed this was not the cheap option. Eamon stated he was not actively looking for a head coaching role in the championship, but he thought the lure of Bradford was too big not to go for. Jason said because he has played the game at a high standard, he is dthe assistant to the team currently top of the league and came across very articulate helped the decision.
