Another win over lowly opposition that ultimately costs us massively. Roby dislocated fingers, Jones dislocated shoulder and even more worrying Makinson with a potentially season ending ankle injury. Shades of the Wakefield game earlier in the season where we lost about five players.

I honestly can't remember the last time we put a decent side out against the Goons.

Nice drama about the Makinson injury, he was walking gingerly at the end. If there's ligament damage it might be a month but if it's just a twist he could make it next week ...

Jones is a shame as he was reaching some decent form, but we're relatively well stocked so I'm not worried.

Not sure how well stocked we are. Our backline always seems to be one man down.

No matter what team Cunningham puts out on that pitch, they'll be a right handful for Wigan. I know some folk aren't convinced by the current entertainment value of our squad but they've got a lot of character.

I've seen terrible twists ran off (there was one in the catalan game tonight) and totally innocuous twists affect players for years. I'm hopeful he just rolled it and it'll be fine in a few days, if not I'll wait until reading what saints have to say before consigning yet another to season end!

Look on the bright side, top of the league for a day, scored some good tries and everything's not as bad as it seemed a month or so ago!

Chris Hill looked at bad one the other week but he played at magic the following week.

We did score some nice tries against a pretty decent side on paper but we was still pretty poor for most of the game.

It would be nice to see us put a good 80 mins together. We are very scratchy and struggled to make decent meters down the middle last night.

Shannon made some good runs which was encouraging and Roby looked back to his best before he went off.

When is Charnock due back from injury. I'm assuming Walsh will be back for the Widnes Game. We should still still have a fairly strong side out for the game on Friday v Wigan.

Did anybody see the Burns incident, was it Hansen going in late with the elbow, thought Burns might have fractured his jaw again.

It was Hansen. He picked up a Lower back injury off that hit so im told.
