Leeds have shocked (and upset ) a lot of RL fans by reaching the final, and I can't wait to see us renew rivalry with you Saints once again in the GF I don't begrudge you lot winning either, although I hope you don't!!! Either way, the Wire & Goons are still sulking at us reaching the final, which is reward in itself
Let's hope for decent weather, a great game and worthy Champions

The only thing that worries me is our pivotal players' lack of experience in big games. McGuire, Burrow, Peacock etc. all have extensive winning experience in Grand Finals. And that counts for a lot. Lomax, Gaskell, Foster & the rest are exceptional talents - but this is where they'll need to show their stones because the pressure will be phenomenal.
Good luck for Saturday guys. Leeds are still a good side, they just had a poor regular season, and know how to play these games just like yourselves. Experience counts for a lot.
This has the makings of a great game. No pressure on either team and a chance for all the fans and players to enjoy the occassion, and to go out and play their best rugby without the fear of losing.
I haven't heard a Leeds fan yet that would begrudge saints getting the win, and I believe from what i've read on here saints fans are in the same mind set.
I think your boys will take their opportunity this year, but I guess it will ultimately come down to youth V experience.
On a positive note, the majority of Wigan fans won't have a clue who to support next week.......putting them in an awkward position of trying to work out who they hate less, which is an added bonus to the game.
.............although, I wouldn't be suprised if sam tomkins still ends up winning the Harry Sunderland trophy.
Here's to a good game of rugby ...let the best team win!
How does everyone think it will go down on Saturday then?
Personally I think Leeds experience of winning the big game recently will give them the edge. Webb, sinfield, McGuire and burrow will see them through again
Having already run the course previously makes it easy for them to relax and play their best rugby
I'm quite confident, but i have no reason to be! I'm of the opinion that maguire has lost a yard of pace since his injury, webb is way on the decline and sinfield just isnt as reliable. Add to that we are so far away from the side that lost to leeds in previous finals, we've got pace across the squad, even our forwards are faster and more mobile than theirs. They have the experience, but we are in our 6th final on the bounce so we've got plenty of experience ourselves, even younguns like Lomax have played in a grand final before.
