Obviously recently Kyle has recieved a huge amount of criticism and I was just wondering whether it is justified or whether we may be being a bit harsh. The claims that he hasnt been trying over the last few weeks may not be truthful as we haveall said he is a fatastic prospect but isnt yet at the level he is capable of becoming and not yet made the 7 his own. So when he isnt hving a first class game is it due to lack of effort of lack of ability at the curent time??

However he is only 22 and still a young lad. He's still learning and some critcism may be harsh. Again when he said that 'Yawnion is a bigger game' dont believe he was being arrogant or stuck up towards the saints team and fans. In terms of TV coveage and revenue, fan base and international stages he is right. However i think it was a silly comment to make.

So does he really deserve the abuse or are we being a wee bit harsh???

Of course it has been harsh. Eastmond has no doubt been advised to do what he has done and has been displaying the naivity of youth, nothing more. For me his performances have been no worse than any other player at the club bar Jammer and Roby, which says a lot.

Paul Wellens has been absolutely horrendous this year, he isn't being booed by anyone other than me currently.

Very harsh theres been more players whos just been as bad like Meli and Moore its frustration with many due to the start weve had

Paul Wellens has been playing even though he is still carrying the rib injury and apparently has had injections for the pain. He has not been horrendous by any means - just not quite up to the mark on occasions and has been playing through the pain barrier. Once his injury has healed he will be fine. We have been so down on players in key positions we have needed to keep him out on the field. In an ideal world he would not have played but needs must.
