Very poor? Have they lost every game since Traynor got involved with the first team?

Just a bad run or a young squad? Or just not very good?

Last year Saints had a U19's squad heavily loaded with 3rd year players, so most have them aren't eligible for this year. Just to put tonights result into context, last week Wigan beat Wakefield comfortably with a team that only had two 3rd year players in it and seven first years (U17's)
I'm guessing Saints had a lot of 1st year players in their team tonight.

Wakefield had 5 3rd year players tonight, 5 second year and 7 first year so good performance from Wakey

Only 2 first years started. Both on wing.
Skill level is shocking. Coaching needs looking at if you ask me.
No game plan and one out rugby. But like watching the first team

Recruitment not good enough. Wigan are throwing big money at Yorkshire lads and we need to do the same I'm afraid.

Plenty of local lads playing u18 rugby better than what they have in the academy
