Dracula Untold - 6/10. A decent watch a slightly different spin on an old tale. Not overly gory or scary in any way really, which probably took a bit of the shine off I think.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Gone Girl - A decent watch. Obviously made with a nod and a wink to Hitchcock, it twists and turns nicely, though it is slightly overlong and struggles to find a totally convincing ending... 7/10

Miricle in cell no 7 - 8.5/10

A Korean film about a metally ill single father wrongly given the death sentence for murdering a child. He then befriends the other inmates in his cell whom then smuggle his daughter into the prison to see him.

I's far fetched, and over acted in parts but it's very moving, and the last 15 minutes especially will leave you sobbing like James Graham on GF day.

The full film is available to watch on that video sharing website.

Been off work for a couple of days so watched a couple of movies ...

Guardians of the Galaxy 8.5/10 loved it , a totally different feel than most of the marvel movies to date !!

TMNT2014 5/10 not the worse film I've seen but I was left very disappointed with this reboot , Megan Fox is a very very poor actress who gets by on looks alone !!!

We stall tall 6/10 based on a true story but seems like other college american football movies I've seen before

Draft day 7/10 not a bad way to waste an hour n half . I quite enjoyed it tbh

Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1. 5/10. Really disappointing compared to the previous two films. Jennifer Lawrence's performance was shaky throughout and very weak at times. The films saving grace is that there is a nice build up to the second film, but overall it was a very dull affair.

Liked the first, got a bit bored with the second and no interest in the last two particulary after the review

Last two I watched:-

Lone survivor. 8.5 out of 10 really enjoyed it.

Was daddy day yesterday so afternoon watching Mary Poppins 10 out of ten got a hr and half of blissful quiet!!!

Watched 'Alien' for the umpteenth time - Still probably the best film ever made for me.

Forever reminds me as a 11 year old in the early 80's, being poop scared, watching from behind a pillow.... and also of being strangely aroused by the final scene of Sigourney Weaver in her pants, fighting the frightening monster ....
