Going home at the end of the season, at least with one decision being made some early recruitment can start to take place. Its felt in recent years weve been late to the party with it, I hope they can make really good use of the quota spot.

Good news all round. All the best to Rob and his family. Played a good part in the challenge cup win and getting this club back on track.

Think everyone knew this was gonna happen, he's done the job he was brought into do which was steady us with Gale, wish him all the best back in Oz and hopefully we can use his cap space and quota spot too good use.

Should we be looking at Kyle Flanagan? Out of favour at the moment, hooked in the game last weekend and dropped this weekend.

2/3 years in SL for some of these young players, out of the spotlight, no pressure, just concentrating on playing footy, its worked wonders for Hastings and it would be good to get someone early in their career rather than back end.

All the best to him. Was what we needed at the time and leaves us with a challenge cup win.

Yep will leave with best wishes after a job well done. I quite like Lui but just not a top-of-the-table 6. Good skills though and hasn’t let anyone down.

What we do next is highly dependent on how Eastmond is travelling and whether we see a future for McLelland at the club. I’m also unsure what talent is coming through the Academy apart from Jack Sinfield.

I’d take Shaun Johnson for a couple of years.

I was critical when he came in and he not only steadied a ship in all kinds of trouble, he managed to keep it heading back to land.
A worthy challenge cup winner and a decent, popular member of the squad.

Lets hope as people have mentioned that we are looking to recruit some star power / quality to replace him.

Jack is playing well for Saddleworth at moment. Scored a try and didnt miss a kick in a 34-18 win at Orrell St James on
Sunday. Hes a scholarship kid at the moment tho not in the academy yet.
