So two weeks away from the first game of the super league season. We are already hit with injuries to a number of players already with Harry Newman, Alex Sutcliffe, Rob Lui, Callum McLelland and Jack Walker on the sidelines, now we add Ash Handley to the equation. By the sound of Richard Agar: Hurrell, Gale, Tetevano, Eastmond will all be ok for the game, with a slight doubt over Tom Holroyd.

Thought Broadbent was very good today at full back and personally would give him the opportunity whilst we get Eastmond fully up to scratch.

Broadbent
Briscoe Sutcliffe Hurrell Briscoe
Myler Gale
Oledzki Leeming Tetevano
Mellor Martin
Smith

Dwyer Vuniyayawa Prior Thompson/Donaldson

Eastmond/Walters/O’Connor

Think Myler deserves to start at FB after last season.
Would go fit Broadbent on wing if Hanley out.
Eastmond will be good to go with Gale. Experienced and quality player....

Both Briscoes will be on the wings if Handley is out which looks likely.

Yep coaches are generally cautious.I personally would play Broadbent on the wing assuming Myler at fullback and Gale and Eastmond in the halfs, Hurrell and Sutcliffe centres. My team would be
Myler
Briscoe
Sutcliffe
Hurrell
Broadbent
Eastmond
Gale
Oledzki
Leemimg
Tetevino
Mellor
Martin
Prior

Dwyer
Thompson
Smith
Walters

Imo prior will always start if he is fit,it's just a question of where. So if prior starts at loose then: dwyer, smith, thompson, walters.
It looks a bit light to me let's hope holroyd is ok.

Did Wakefield make their stadium available to host one of the opening two rounds of games?
"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."
