Huddersfield just havn't got the winning mentality and will lack consistency again to win the league. But what they can do is cause some upsets and really rattle the playoffs.
I like how peoples opinions about Leeds have changed so dramatically. 12 months ago we we're favourates. After an horendous season with injuries we still got to wembley, finished 4th in the league and got within 80 mins of old trafford. Imo Leeds have strengthened the squad with more go forward. Imo anyone out of Leeds, Wigan, Saints and Warrington can go onto to win the league and the GF. I will definately have a dabble on our odds.
How in a blue moon have you come up with Leeds are strengthened?
Players that were all ready reaching their end are now a year older, to add to that we have two very very important players missing for the first quarter of the season, one of which causes a complete reshuffle of the team.
Leeds from a playing resource are a million miles away from been streghthened from last year. What we do have however, is a new coach which IMO will bring about a new lease of life to certain players, which may well see us play better than last season. But that better may not be good enough due to how much better other sides will be next year. Only time will tell, but the bookies certainly have it right to say we will not challenge Saints and Wigan.
