Now is the time for the ERU to follow the RFL in franchising and shut the relegation door for the Premier clubs - something that has been suggested for several years now.

I think they'll shut up shop with the top 2 leagues. Are they not setting up Premiership 2, with 5 clubs or so relegated from National One, including little Otley? |

I understand the potential benefits to the Leeds Rugby organisation so an increase in revenue should be a good thing. Do Carnegie need to increase attendances to remain viable even if relegation goes? I suspect their 'corporate' earnings will put ours to shame when in the Premiership.
