Apparently the things that convinced the adjudication commitee that Eastwood should be refused a working visa in the UK was more down to the fact that:

Allegedly Eastwood has also been reprimanded for not having a valid fishing liscence and that he also once failed to take his library book back on time!

I see Hull's new signing Sam Moa should be arriving next week after gaining his work visa. He was only snapped up five weeks ago as well apparently.

Good work Mrs H. Not sure whether he's a quality signing though.

This visa issue just seems ridiculous and not just Eastwoods. I don't see it being applied to other sports, such as yawnion and football. If it did when will Tevez be deported - wasn't he driving without a licence and therefore uninsured!

It seems to take us back to the roots of our sport - the control of the working classes (perhaps a 21st century slant on it!). After all immigration rules have always been about controlling (relative) poverty.
