| Quote RHINO-MARK="RHINO-MARK"Roberts is bang average & Brown is the most over-rated HB in SL.
Goodwin is just here for the final payday hence his willingness to sign for Leigh.
You are still very much throwing money at it imo & players who look "stars" elsewhere often fail to live up to it once they arrive at your place.'"
I never said Brown was good.
Often halfbacks who come over here are 'bang average', Luke Walsh and Albert Kelly etc they were all bang average in the NRL and struggling to play week in week out but Roberts definitely isn't average. He's a very good player, very off the cuff, good short and long kicking game. Titans wanted to keep him and their fans are gutted he's leaving. He's coming into the prime of his career. We'll have this conversation this time next year and see who was right.

| I think Roberts could be good for the Wolves if he stays! Sandow looked good at times but didn't last.

He'll be fantastic no doubt about it. He's a class act and it's a coup for us to sign him.

Gidley was twice the HB Roberts is how did that turn out?
Look at Todd Carney rated as one of the best in the World over there he was sh#* here.
I look forward to having this conversation again but just a quick heads up dont bother coming back to it if/when you win a couple of games & he's getting called World Class by the Wire mob & Phil Clark just like you were all doing about Brown after the Brisbane game.

Gidley did well whilst he was here. Was unlucky not to win three trophies, got us two the two major finals and won a league leaders. Last season was obviously a poor season but it was the same for all of players. Top pro, always gave 100%, can't fault the guy or the signing.
Don't recall anyone at Wire getting excited about Brown after the Wigan game tbh. Nobody wanted him from the start and completely resented the signing. Replacing him with Sandow was like going from a Porsche to a Ford Escort.
Best of luck for next season, I expect Leeds to be at the top challenging again.

| I'm not sure about Warrington for next year but you can't knock them for recognising change was needed and acting on it. Price looks like a shrewd bit of business and they have plugged a number of gaps on the playing side that needed filling, whether these signings will have the desired affect time will tell but i bet it feels much better being a wolves fan right now than 4 months ago when there was a real stink of staleness around the club.

| Expect Warrington to be a lot stronger next year. Like the signing of Murdoch massila wouldn't have minded him signing for Leeds.

Would you have any of these candidates? I like Kevin Penny's speed but I don't think his overall game wouldn't add anything to our current lineup!

Why on earth would e want anybody else's cast offs? Esp not the ones on that list.
There is a reason they've not been snapped up.
It's because they're crap.

Michaels would be the only one i would be interested in, actually thought he was going back home, he would only be a back up signing though especially if Briscoe's end of season form continues into 2018. don't think we have quota space anyway.
Penny would not be a bad back up if we got him at a value price, more of a Richard Moore (scuse the pun) type signing, do a job if required, 6-8 game type p[layer.

| I too think Warrington will do well next year with the players they have signed although I say that every time they make these signings.
They already have a decent squad despite where they finished like us the year before.
And they have added to that squad more than most of the SL teams for next season.
Roberts should be a good signing and imo better than Sandow.
BMM is the sort of player we should be looking at but not at £175k
Price the coach is an unknown here but has got to be a better option than Tony Smith who stayed a year too long again a bit like McDermott I thought but what do I know.
Warrington wont be too far off top 4 even in transition along with Saints Wigan maybe, Hull and us.
The jury`s out for me with Cas.
