Good luck to the guy, I just hope the club back him to bring in and let go who he wants in the next few years.

Thought he handled the question of criticism from fans for being too inexperienced well too

Impressed with him if im honest but i knew i would be. His dad was something else and we all know his uncle isnt too bad either.

He will need time and he will need luck. Like i said yesterday it may or not work out but at least theres a decent chance it will.

It's obvious that he's really hungry for this. It's not just another
job for him, it's a golden opportunity. Remember when Tony took charge he used to be out on the pitch watching the warm up. He really wanted it. Get the same vibe from Rohan.

Rohan has every chance of succeeding. We are rock bottom and we will automatically see some improvement as our best players return from injury. Our expectations are also at rock bottom and think most of us will be patient and just look for small improvements each season. Could be 4-5 years before we’re challenging again, but I think if we get some stability with Rohan we’ll get there in the end…..

Certainly a more interesting appointment than a McNamara, a Radford or a Wane. I get the impression he has more ambition than merely steadying the ship, making us competitive or winning the arm wrestle.

I was impressed in some ways, and surprised in others. Enjoyed hearing some of his coaching philosophies, thinking about the future, player development etc.

Slightly concerned he's only seen a few of our games this year. If I was either in the recruitment process (GH) or the prospective coach, I'd have wanted to watch every minute of every game, have a full breakdown of every player on the roster etc. He was very much like, let's see what it's like when I get there.

He's got an enforced period where he can't get hands on with the coaching. He should be spending every waking minute preparing, which it didn't seem he had been.

Maybe I'm being a bit too negative, but it definitely stood out to me.

If he had seen all the games he might not have taken the job!
He has plenty of time to watch all games from this year and indeed last year before he actually arrives in the flesh. His Uncle will also be able to give him plenty of feedback. As long as he doesnt take everything JJB says as gosprl!

JJB and gospel. That has a certain ring to it. He might send JJB on a pilgrimage to Outer Mongolia after a few months…!

Why does it need to be 4 or 5 years? We can challenge next season if current players are made better, young players developed and the right recruitment made. People seem obsessed with making it into a massive big project thing. We'd have been challenging a few years back if we just made smart decisions.

10-year project.

15 years before we can challenge, but as long as there are small improvements I'm happy.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

A club with the resources of Leeds should able to be turned around in 2 years max. Cleaning up the contracts and salary cap will take longest, and that’s entirely self inflicted.

2 years at most. No reason why we can’t challenge next season for top 4 with the right recruitment and coaching

We’ll maybe your right. I just look at our squad and it’s like an amateur team compared to Saints Roster. That big a gap!
