AFAIK, we had ever more season ticket holders, leedsline agents etc. last year and sold just over 7,000 tickets for the Semi v Stains. I don't think there'll be an issue. Year after year, large numbers of season ticket holders from all clubs have shown that they're not prepared to part with extra cash for CC games.

Cas are confident of their full 6000 Allocation been sold out by Friday Lunchtime.

Its our biggest game in years, And we could have taken 8000ish.

i agree with all that but you have to assume they will want one

and thats where the RFL slipped up. after lean years when support has drifted away this is a great chance for cas to entice those people back. playing in a small ground doesn't give them the chance to do that

That's why we've ended up with half empty stadia for semi finals for years. Good CC crowds are sadly the exception rather than the norm and I'm glad that the RFL have realised/finally admitted (delete as appropriate) this and have chosen stadia accordingly. I've said this before but it's worth repeating. I'd much rather see a situation where 1,000 fans are unable to attend than the game taking place in a stadium with a 8/9,000 excess capacity. If you want a ticket enough, you will make sure you get one. If you're "not really that bothered but may go if you're free" then you'll probably end up without one. Seems fair to me.

If there are touts hanging around the Keepmoat on Sunday and a Black Market appears, we'll know the RFL have messed up. If not, I think they'll have judged it just about right.
