If we have confirmed any other signings I don't get the announcement of Goudemand, though while a decent player doesn't get the juices flowing. If we haven't then we seem to be late in the day with recruitment again.

Must be a plan for 6+7 given Sezar is going and wasn't really expected to stay.
Austin seems to want to stay but that is starting to look like a Hardaker situation

My concern with the GH email is it’s all jam tomorrow again and “trust what we are doing”. Sadly that requires season ticket holders to place hope over experience.

Lots of clubs in the market, With Hull FC looking for a half, Catalan must be looking at loads with buckets of cap. They have Satae coming in, but Tomkins, Pearce, Keighran, Goudemand and apparently Whitley leaving, which won’t make it easier.

With a two week window now before our next game you would hope the picture looks clearer regarding next year's squad before Saints. If we have deals done or close surely we should have more clarity by then. Austin resigning surely resolved one way or another. Possibly the latest Levi injury may need assessed although knowing our luck with injuries he has already signed! Unless there's complications he would be good to go next year and a positive signing. Alternatively we could be still looking with nothing confirmed and back to last minute panic buys and projects!

Just because nothings been announced doesn't mean nothings been sorted - clubs all announce the signings differently and it's not always up to the club that has signed the player as to when it is announced.

Catalans are also rumoured to have signed Peachey as replacement for Tomkins and Fages as possible replacement for Pearce. May might well stay if he's not going back to the NRL so thankfully we might not be shopping in the same market position wise. Share your sentiments though, the longer it goes without clarity in terms of who is going (no word on Tet, Fusi, Austin) never mind coming, the more it creates the impression that we have no clear plan, or even if we do, it's not going to plan. In GH we must trust, but it's a far tougher ask than it used to be.

To be fair Tetevano was almost certainly going however due to the sensitivity regarding his health issues and respect to the player there is every chance that the club are allowing that announcement to come from him and we may have a replacement already signed.

Id be amazed if they could keep any significant signings secret from aus or home 'press'. And why just announce goudemand. Your last point accepted, I suppose previous experience and the surgery needed leaves some concerns at this stage.

All understandable but a lot of fans will think this is prelude to another year of bargin bin diving and another year of limbo on the rebuild.
With everything so far pointing towards having no 6 or 7 incoming and one of the oldest / slowest FBs staying on as primary.
That might effect ticket sales or sponsorship but I doubt it. It is very meh for GH to talk about patience and trust given the last 7 years mostly
